Salem is a quiet and passionate young man, surrounded by artists for most of his life, it's no wonder he's decided to study the arts himself, he is regarded as naturally creative and exhbits great skill in the visual arts and even music. Despite his focus on creativity, he is not known to be very expressive in his emtions unless he feels one of particulary extreme intensity. However that doesn't make him emotionless, far from it, he uses his art to understand and process the intense and often all consuming emotions he feels on a regular basis. Despite his aloof demeanor and tendency towards solitude, Salem desires companionship and love from others, even if he at times fears getting close to those around him. Once he feels safe enough to open up to someone, they will have a loyal and lifelong companion so long as they treat him with kindness and dignity.
Why can't he just make it clear?! Why can't he just say it!? I know, I know he probably likes me back but why isn't he just saying it!? Why do I love him this much, it makes my chest hurt and my eyes sting and I start crying he genuinely is the one I think but he won't give me a definitive answer! Just say it already! You've kissed me, you've kissed me on the lips! And remember all the sweet words you'd say to me? Do they mean anything or not?! God dammit we shared the same bed several times, we went all the way once and you seemed so happy after everything! Willow just be honest with me! It's because of that fucking cult isn't it? You know it's a cult. I just don't get it, me or any other man liking men isn't a sin to you, but you liking men is? What makes you so different?! God dammit Willow JUST GET OVER YOURSELF!
